AI Readiness Checklist: The "Context Engine" Test
If your leadership team answers "No" to these, their AI strategy is currently a liability, not an asset.
1. The Context Test
* Can the AI explain why a specific decision was made?
* Does the AI have access to the tradeoffs considered during a project's inception?
* Is the AI fed by a "Team Brain" (living system) or just static, outdated documentation?
2. The Risk & Exposure Test
* If the AI makes a mistake, can you trace the "Intent" to defend the organization's logic?
* Is the AI currently magnifying existing fragments of knowledge and "noise"?
* Are you relying on AI to "remember" things your team has already forgotten?
3. The Resilience Test
* If key experts leave, can the AI still operate with the full "Understanding" they held?
* Does the AI help reduce MTTR (Mean Time to Recovery) without requiring "heroics"?
* Is the AI helping the organization grow "smarter" rather than just more complex?
> The Hard Truth for Leadership: > "AI without context amplifies mistakes." If the organization is currently running on "heroics" and "tribal knowledge," an AI tool will only serve to document your "Invisible Debt" in real-time. To move from Fragility to Compounding Strength, you must build the "Team Brain" first.
