Politics and IT: More Alike Than We Think
Watching last night’s election unfold, it struck me how much politics sometimes mirrors the world of IT.
The front-runner comes in strong, making noise and claiming momentum—but behind the scenes, perhaps little actually gets built. Then someone else steps up, takes the baton, and suddenly the dynamics shift. Sound familiar?
In our world of tech and enterprise, it’s the same cycle: hype, change-agent, disruption. But whether it’s building software or building societies, the loudest voice isn’t always the one creating value.
What matters most isn’t who wins round one—it’s the team that adapts, delivers, and endures. Collaboration and sustainable progress win out over short-term showmanship.
